Additional Addictive Behaviors We Address

While our core focus is substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, we also recognize that addictive behaviors can take many forms. For some clients, challenges with compulsive behaviors may surface alongside—or as part of—a larger recovery journey. When clinically appropriate, we offer support and therapeutic resources to address:

Compulsive Sexual Behavior / Pornography Use
Technology Addiction (excessive gaming, social media, or device use)
Shopping or Spending Compulsions
Nicotine Dependence
Chronic Risk-Taking or Thrill-Seeking Behaviors

These behaviors can often be rooted in similar emotional patterns or trauma responses seen in substance use. Our therapists work to help clients explore these patterns with compassion, evidence-based tools, and personalized care, when integrated into a broader treatment plan.

Harmony Grove Behavioral Health offers comprehensive care

We are prepared to help you through the healing process and find the trajectory that is right for you.

Do You Offer Support for Families? Can family members be involved in treatment?

Absolutely! The family can be an important resource in recovery. We offer family support to ensure that healing is also being done at home for a comprehensive approach to change. Families learning about addiction, supporting practices, and their own self-care, communication, and boundaries create the best approach for sustainable change. We provide family counseling/therapy, educational resources/workshops, and support groups to help loved ones be involved in and navigate the recovery process.
Addiction is a disease, and is covered by most insurances. However, exactly how much is covered will depend on your unique insurance plan. Harmony Grove is also currently an out-of-network provider, but we are prepared to work with you so that there are no surprises when it comes to financing your recovery.

The best way to approach any facility is to be open and honest about your own needs. Asking about specific amenities while explaining personal needs is the best way to determine if any facility is the right fit, and if they offer multiple options to address your needs and goals in treatment. Each facility is a little different, and making these questions as personal as possible can help you decide where you will make the most of your healing.

Other questions like financial expectations, specific modalities, and scheduling are also important, ensuring that you can commit to the healing process.
Absolutely! However, no part of addiction recovery is easy. You have to be ready to put in the hard work to overcome the disease. No medication or program will “fix” addiction outright without hard work, continued effort, and continued engagement in healing and change. However, there is also nobody who is ever “beyond” healing, or who is “too addicted” to pursue a life of sobriety. Regardless of your history with addictive substances or past attempts to pursue sobriety, healing is always possible.
Helping a loved one begin their healing journey is difficult, but families and loved ones always have options to become the best supports available. Calling a professional facility to learn about addiction as a disease, familiarizing oneself with the specific programs and amenities offered, and helping to provide scheduling and transportation support can all empower a loved one to commit to their own healing. Being ready and willing to commit to change alongside a loved one can also create an atmosphere of support and change, providing that extra push to begin the healing journey.
Supporting a loved one’s healing journey can be challenging, managing your personal emotions and stress with effective support. Calling local facilities to learn more about the disease, asking about personalized options and amenities, and working to develop what a schedule and program can look like can all help a loved one take their first step with confidence and support. Education about addiction is key to ensuring that you can support a loved one with sympathy.
Our philosophy focuses on safety, empowerment, and lasting sobriety. We aim to create a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone.
We design personalized programs based on each individual’s needs, blending evidence-based practices with compassionate care.
Our combination of clinical expertise, real-life understanding, and inclusivity sets us apart. We provide alternatives to traditional 12-step programs for those seeking a different approach.
Yes, we offer ongoing support and resources to help clients maintain their progress and navigate challenges even after treatment ends.
When the use of drugs begins to impede daily life, your ability to tend to personal or professional responsibilities, is seen as necessary to cope with stress, or you continue to use drugs even after experiencing negative consequences, drug rehab may be necessary. However, it is never too early to learn more about drug rehab and what recovery can look like for you, so calling a professional detox facility or our team at Harmony Grove Behavioral Health can help you learn how to take your first step toward a drug-free life.
We provide comprehensive outpatient care, where you will join us and our community multiple times a week to engage in evidence-based and holistic healing opportunities. However, while we provide experience, resources, expertise, and a sober community, any drug rehab program will still be hard work. We are willing to work with you to find your path to healing and daily life as you challenge vulnerabilities, change, and more in your unique healing journey.
Addiction is a disease, and most major insurance providers will cover at least some of the cost. However, how much is covered will depend on your unique plan. We also currently offer private pay options and payment plans to help manage the cost of our treatment program.
For some, medication can be used to manage certain challenges and mental health disorders in recovery. However, not everyone will necessarily need medication. Likewise, setting expectations for medication is also necessary. No medication will “fix” addiction or replace the need for hard work, therapy, and ongoing effort and care. Rather, some medications can be used to address specific symptoms while you develop the practical skills and coping strategies to manage these challenges in daily life.

Harmony Grove offers medication management to help you balance the use of medication, if necessary, with ongoing care and personalized treatment options for an effective approach to sober healing.
Yes! While overcoming cocaine addiction is challenging, it is always possible. There is nobody who is “too addicted” that they are somehow beyond a life of sobriety. While it takes hard work, healing and change are always possible. Likewise, it is never too early to learn more about cocaine addiction and your healing options, so calling a professional treatment facility to discuss drug rehab for cocaine can provide better insight into how your journey to sobriety may look.
Absolutely! We provide family counseling, education, and support groups to help loved ones navigate the recovery journey together and encourage entire families to get involved for effective, sustainable, and transformative change.
